Ornithologists, nature lovers and dog people – attention!! A must for ornithologists and a place to be for bird lovers! Very near to Parque National de Montfragüe with it’s unique density of vultures and raptors! Around the appartment there is a hoopoo and cuckoo population and even an oriole showed up the first morning!! For nature lovers an ideal starting point for P.N. de Montfragüe, the Dehesas, the Valle de la Vera up into the mountains of the Sierras de Gredo until the tree line and the Villuercas with the chestnut trees. For dogs who love water and swimming, it is ideal with a clean river 50 m from the appartment and a huge garden. The appartment is restored and decorated with very much love and there is all equipment that you might need. It is a jewel!! Internet connection is ok for sending pictures via whatsapp, but cloud storage or online processing of bigger pictures than 10 MB is not advised. Mobile phone connection is not always good. María is an awesome and very lovable host who is always willing and takes time to answer questions about the country and the people or just to look that you are feeling well. Though the appartment is small, we enjoyed it very much during our 3,5 weeks vacation due to the reasons mentioned above (we are a couple with a 50 kg dog) and recharged our batteries very well! We strongly recommend this lovely place and the wonderful host María!

Una y mil veces recomendable en cualquier circunstancia: con niños, con perros o en pareja; combina a la perfección la tranquilidad con su proximidad a los lugares más relevantes y espectaculares del Valle del Jerte, y al pie mismo de la garganta de Jaranda si lo que quieres es aislarte en la infinita parcela donde se ubica.

Hemos pasado dos semanas allí con nuestro perrete y estamos encantados. Volveremos seguro y recomendamos 100% el sitio. María Jesús es encantadora y la finca tiene bajada directa al río, que además es muy bonito. El alojamiento es fantástico: está muy bien adornado y todo es cómodo. Y nuestro perrete fue muy feliz allí ya que pueden moverse libremente por la finca 💜

Además, hacen apicultura. Tuvimos la oportunidad de hacer la actividad un día con ellos y aprendimos muchísimo.
